Moving Right Along.....

We recently received a nice boost of help from my Uncle Brad (who is a general contractor) and my cousin Reggie.

They were so nice to come from Utah and help us upgrade from third world country conditions.

Need I remind you what our hallway bath looked like when they arrived?

Notice anything missing?? Ya, we really miss that hole. I would always look down into the hole and wonder if there was some cute little raccoon or something about to jump out at me.

Master Bathroom before.

No more backyard bathing!

THANK YOU BRAD AND REGGIE!!!!

Oh Benny, Benny, Benny.....

So, yesterday Hannah brings me this humongous hair ball. She said that she found it stuffed in something and she thinks it's from Benny's head. I told her that is crazy, until.............................

I saw Benny.

Benny has been randomly cutting the front of his hair ever so often, ( I am sure you have noticed in past pictures) But he has yet to scalp his head, until now. I am so sad because we weren't going to buzz him this summer. I think we might try to ride this crazy hair out without the buzz. It's not that noticeable right?????

Hannah has discovered the phone.....

Lately Hannah has been calling various friends from school and church and having these hour long conversations.

The other day her conversation was so funny I had to start writing down her end of it. Here is Hannah's end of the conversation word for word. (and keep in mind Hannah doesn't even really have make-up. She only has a tube of lip gloss)

Hannah on the phone:

No, I would look so TERRIBLE!

You know, I am going to wear my pink dress.

I know how it is to be bummed out by your brothers getting into your make-up.

We will put on the make-up color, but it's lip glossish. I wear lip gloss.

Can you believe that Benny wants to wear blue and red make-up like superman?

He is SOOOO in love with that!

Benny ALWAYS wants to get my make-up.

And anyways, I have A LOT of make-up.

It's going to be your Birthday??

Well, of course you are going to invite me. I know that.....

You should have root beer, pizza, and cake of course!

My little sweet Hannah. What am I going to do with her when she is 16????????

Some kids are just leash kids.....

I was always opposed to the child leash. I never understood why a parent would put their child in such a thing.........until we had Will.

How you know your child is a leash child:

When you are woken up early on a Saturday morning by a neighbor down the street returning your child and a half gallon of ice cream out of your freezer that your child has devoured.

Apparently Will woke up, climbed out of his crib, grabbed some ice cream from the fridge, opened the front door, and headed down the street in his pajamas eating ice cream with his bare hands.

(showering in the backyard, a 2 year old in his pajamas eating ice cream on the street corner at 7 am.... ya, we have made a GREAT impression with our new neighbors!)

Oh, too be able to blog again!!!!

What a crazy week it has been! I have been dying to blog this whole time. Our internet connection just got hooked up about an hour ago and here I am frantically blogging. This really is an addiction.....

So, a quick update on our living conditions. The day before we moved in, the plumber cut a huge whole in front of the toilet and so here is a picture of what our bathroom was like the first week. No big deal, just a huge hole you had to straddle.

Here is our Master Bathroom. Isn't it beautiful?

Did I mention that there is no way to bath or shower yet? We have had to get pretty creative.

The kids love it. They can't wait for their bath time.

Ray hooks up the hose to the hot water so it's a nice warm "shower". And yes, Ray showers every morning in the backyard! He claims that no one can him see over the fence. (does he know how tall he is?) Our neighbors have got to be thinking we are the biggest hicks!!

Oh, the stories we are able to tell about this are priceless. I am cracking up just thinking about it.....
