Really it's not that bad.....

We recently bought a house, and let's just say it's a fixer. We haven't moved into the house yet because there is a lot of work to do. On this particular visit to the house, our kids insisted on wearing masks and gloves the whole time we were there. These are kids who have chewed gum they found on the sidewalk, play in the toilet, eat pizza that has fallen face down on a dirty floor, and yet they need to wear masks at our house. Does that give you an idea of what I mean when I say fixer?

i know, suddenly chloe is so worried about germs from other people's cups and stuff... but still won't bathe daily. their logic is baffling.

and will's little eyes remind me of your mom in this picture! they all are so cute. i love how they're in various stages of dress/disarray... the ragamuffin look is so "in" at my house, too!

this is a really long comment, but just one more thing: post pictures of your new house please!!!

I love the extended comments! Keep them coming. And yes, my kids are totally in the ragamuffin stage right now. Benny is wearing some hand me down pajamas from our neighbor. He wants to wear them all the time. On this particular day he put them on at 3 in the afternoon.

on the one hand, i LOVE that the little boys can dress themselves. on the other, i'm so tired of picking up and refolding ALL the clothes they throw on the ground during their multiple-times-a-day "costume changes!" argh!

Sara, tell us more about the house. Is this something you are going to move into? Is this something you are "flipping"? Are you going to sell your other house? I know in Park City you were talking about your various real estate visions. Are you actually getting to see one of them come to reality? How exciting. Fill us in...
