It's kind of a cross between Barry Manilow and a newly hatched bird
This is a picture of me as of about 2 minutes ago. I know that I am huge, I am actually very, very aware of it. Every inch of me is just plain HUGE, but do you really have to tell me???? Aside from the usual comments of "Are you sure you are only carrying one in there?" and "You look like you are about to pop any second". I have my top three favorites. And I really am not making these up!
Here they are:
3. "We were just comparing you to so and so who is due a month before you and we decided that you are MUCH bigger than her."
2. "You look like you are really putting it on."
And the number one comment said by someone from across a room full of people is....................

1. "HEY FATSO!"
Meet Benny's newly appointed butler.
Something fishy is going on. Benny must have caught Will doing something pretty bad and the price for Benny's silence is Will waiting on him hand and foot. Our friends recently walked Hannah, Benton, and Will to a nearby park. They said that Will refused to get in the stroller, but Benny hopped right in. Will then proceeded to push Benny in the stroller all the way to the park. When it was time to come home, they said that Benny got in the stroller again and Will very happily pushed Benny all the way home! We laughed and thought nothing of it.....until a few days later I was walking by the bathroom and Benny came running out. As he passed me in the hall he yelled, "Will you can flush the toilet now". To which Will responds by jumping up and running into the bathroom to flush the toilet that Benny just used!
I am just glad they are getting along!
He risks getting whacked in the leg so Benny can have a fun Birthday party
He is the "cool" Dad in Hannah's class who brings his guitar in and rocks out to the Little Mermaid song Under the Sea upon request.
He is the kids bed.
and their jungle gym.
He is willing to make a fool of himself. This year he surprised Hannah at school on Halloween by bursting into her classroom dressed as Superman and passed out treats to the kids.
He understands the importance of the small things. Like, how he has Benny sit with him during a Basketball game and even lets him stand in the huddles sometimes.
Again, he is willing to make a fool of himself.
He stops the car in the middle of a two lane road and backs up 50 feet to show the kids a cool tree that he saw.
Just to name a few things...
Happy Father's Day Ray!
Benny couldn't figure out if he was moving or if it was the water.
Watching the sunset at Sunset Beach
We are off to Sunset Beach for a little family vacation. (it's about 2 1/2 hours south between Santa Cruz and Monterey) We hope to find sun, sand, and no remodeling!
Have a great weekend!
What happened to Will's face you ask? Oh, no big deal, he just fell out of a tree face first onto the lava rocks below. This was of course after he had taken all of my jewelry and thrown it down a vent. Which was of course before he took plyers and one by one ripped off the plastic front to our box fan. Which was after he threw a whole roll of toilet paper into the toilet. Which was after he ripped out the stuffing of Benny's Superman pillow. Which was of course before he ripped up one of my cookbooks, which was before I caught him trying to hang from our chandelier..............are you getting tired yet because I could go on......and on.....and on......and on.....
