Our power has been out today because of the rainstorms here in Cali. I am sure you all have been anxiously waiting to know my results for this week. (I know, I know, I am sure that is not the case, butI have to tell myself that lots of people will be checking the blog on Friday. That is the only way I can stay away from eating ice cream endlessly all day. ) I seem to have hit a steady groove. This week's results are:
-2 lbs
I am not sure how next week will go. I plan on totally pigging out on chips, dips, treats, etc. on Sunday. I plan on making every single recipe that I salivated over while watching the food network shows on super bowl appetizers. (and we aren't even having anyone over) hee hee

Slow and steady wins the race, Sara! Way to go. You are still heading in the right direction. I agree about the free-for-all on Super Bowl Sunday. We will partying solo as well, but that does not mean that we won't have enough food to feed 20! Good luck to you this week. Run a few extra miles on Monday. That should help!
Congrats Sarah!
Great job sara...I don't know about anyone else, but I definately look forward to each Friday...you are so brave...I seem to be finding every pound you lose..Keep up the good work!!!By the way my husband Andrew works for Medtronic here in AZ. WE have been here about 6 years...He works in pain management...We are excited for this opportunity...I was so happy to tell Andrew about Ray. talk to you soon..
Good job! I really do look forward to your results each week. I am trying to shed a few pounds too. I've been on no treats for over a week now. It stinks!
Am I the only one not celebrating the super bowl? I could care less.
congrats you are doing great! i'm also starting a diet to get this baby weigh off but i'm not brave enough to post it but i'll let you know how it ends up. i must lose weigh by my sister's wedding....april 5th we will see how it goes
Yes, I love Friday's. And I cannot believe how well you are doing! Good job. Are you working out also, or just eating right? This is impressive.
way to go Sara, how exciting! and yes maybe you deserve a break of chips and dips and rolls. I am sure one day won't do that much harm to you. You are doing great! I am proud of your determination!
I am so proud of Sara - I honestly don't know if I would be able to be as disciplined as she is. What's more amazing is that she can do it with the incessant Mommy-buzzing that she puts up with. It's hard enough to stick to a diet and exercise plan like she has, but add in the kids and it's like a Fear Factor where the host says, "Ok, in the next challenge you have to hold your breath for 2 minutes in this tank of water............which we'll fill full of crayfish that needle and pinch every inch of your body..."
Seriously, sometimes I will be in another room just amazed that Sara can handle the verbal ping-pong - and she still has the willpower to stick to her goal!
I just had a thought... I wonder which side of the fence I fall on - am I a crayfish, too?....
Alright nothing to do with weight loss but as of last night Mitt and McCain were both at 38% in the polls in California. You Californians step it up BIG TIME today. Talk to everyone at Target, grocery store and the elementry school. Go Mitt!
I love the chart - very nice visual! Way to go!
Ok, now I feel waaaaayyyy guilting about having a "recipe" column on my blog.....
