My parents have been called to be Mission Presidents of the Buenos Aires West Mission in Argentina! We are so excited for them. I just don't think it has sunk in yet that they are going to be gone for 3 years. I just have to focus on how blessed the people are in Argentina to have my parents helping to spread the gospel in their country. We love you guys and are so proud of you!

That is awesome! We are so excited for them. They will be so great. My parents come home from serving as Mission Presidents in Minnesota this summer. I know it seems cliche but the 3 years really did fly by.
That is so awesome!!!My brother was one of the first missionaries in the west mission..he started in the north then they opened the west..That is so exciting!!!They will be awesome and I know they will be such a blessing to the people/ missionaries there. You guys have such a wonderful family!!!what a blessing!
OH MY GOODNESS...What a wonderful blessing. You know I only met your parents a few times up at your house and when they would come down at times, but I have to say that until this day I still consider them some of the nicest people I have ever met. So geniune and sweet. I know exactly where you get your nice genes:). How exciting, I am sure many trips to Argentina will be in your future.

Wow! That's crazy. I'm so excited for them. But I hear you in thinking 3 years feels like a long time. My parents have been in Germany now for almost three years. But since it's not a mission, we see them often. What an adventure. I want to be at the homecoming talks! That would be a good Sacrament meeting.
aren't you so excited to go visit them? i'm already planning our trip. and singing a lot of songs from evita.
also, isn't it so funny how i'm always really recently postpartum in all the family pictures?!

I have been thinking about Evita too! What a wonderful place to be called to! So international and cosmopolitan for South America. A safe and fun place for you to visit...unlike some other countries in South America (Colombia for instance). But looking at the map...it is so far!

Congratulations! They will be so wonderful, both of them. 3 years is a long time though. Brett's parents were gone for 2 and that was a long time. I'm sure you will visit. Hey, I want to visit!
