Oh Sara...it is going to be great. You are brave to take on such a project. I don't think I have the patience. I'm jealous you will get a new kitchen! What I would do for a new kitchen. Okay, that makes me sound old. I am definetly in a different stage in my life. Can you picture us talking about kitchens and houses 10 years ago?
you still haven't explained about your other house?! Have you sold it? I'm so excited for you. I'm most jealous that you got to destruct so much stuff. Darin would never let me do that do our house!!
It would be funny to go back ten years and actually hear what we were talking about. My journals give me some clue, and yes it wasn't kitchens! But I have to say I find the subject very interesting now.
Right now we still live in our current house. We don't plan to move for about a month and then we will be renting out our house now. It has been kind of crazy. We already have half of our stuff boxed up because we originally thought we would be moving sooner. And yes, it was really fun destroying everything. We had a whole demolition party. I think people enjoyed it. We sure appreciated the help :)
Ray is gonna be a busy man in the next couple of months :) When our house gets finished i am gonna go in and replace all the flooring etc., so tell ray to send me some pointers :)
wait, i didn't know you were doing a complete remodel! wow! where have i been? are you guys doing that all yourself? thant's amazing/crazy/brave! good luck. i can't wait to see the after after pictures...
I would like to be able to accept the words "amazing & brave" but truthfully I think the correct word is crazy. We are doing probably 95% of the work ourselves & with the help of friends. We wouldn't be nearly as far along as we are without their help. It is the putting it all back together that Ray will mostly be doing. He will be taking a week off the first week of April.
*Sorry I missed you while you were online. I was online at the same time, but didn't check my blog. Oh well, It sounds like you are having a great time in the D.R.
regardless, i'm sure it's quite an undertaking, but i'm sure you'll just love it! are you having fun choosing cabinets and stuff?
as far as the "so over trading spaces colors," i think after a while, you're just so over whatever you have. it's like you're just sick of it some days and wish you could change everything... we went from crazy colors to very very beige every-everywhere, and sometimes i'm just feeling like it's all SO beige! but the odd thing is, you know how we did white and dark wood? well, i actually wish we would've just done ALL white everything... and then i'd be feeling like it was too white. i'll never win. :)
Wow, we didn't even know you guys bought a house. Congrats. Boy, Ryan and I live pretty close to Henderson Fam, but we're so out of the loop, it's not funny. Did you ever find out that we didn't knwo Teresa was pregant till like 1.5 before she had the baby, crazy.

I'm sure the place is going to be great! Will you have a guest room? :)
We would love it if you guys came and visited! I need to see your little guy in person. Maybe we will plan a trip down there before I'm due.

It's obvious that "Will the destroyer" got his destroying genes from "Ray the destroyer"!
Great job Ray!
