A few weekends ago, our family went camping with our Ward at the campground our church owns.
One of the things the kids loved most was doing the dishes!

So, our summer was a bit busy or maybe lazy is a better term?
Having baby # 5 is a good excuse to be 4 months late on a birthday party for baby # 4 right?
This being a birthday party for child #4, I have learned a few things about planning parties. One is that organized games for small children NEVER work out the way I had envisioned them to go. I have learned that five year olds can entertain themselves pretty well. For Avril’s birthday party I decided to keep it low key. Like REALLY LOW KEY. Like buy 2 bags of balloons from the dollar store, blow all 50 of them up, and let the kids make up the games low key.
It was AWESOME!

We definitely love her for being the real Hannah!
Just incase you were wondering if letting a baby stare at the fire keeps them mesmerized for a good amount of time….
