Camp Liahona Redwoods

A few weekends ago, our family went camping with our Ward at the campground our church owns.

Better Late Than Never

So, our summer was a bit busy or maybe lazy is a better term?

Having baby # 5 is a good excuse to be 4 months late on a birthday party for baby # 4 right?

017

This being a birthday party for child #4, I have learned a few things about planning parties. One is that organized games for small children NEVER work out the way I had envisioned them to go. I have learned that five year olds can entertain themselves pretty well.  For Avril’s birthday party I decided to keep it low key.  Like REALLY LOW KEY.  Like buy 2 bags of balloons from the dollar store, blow all 50 of them up, and let the kids make up the games low key.

It was AWESOME!

Best 2 bucks I ever spent…..

Hannah Marie

Hannah left Ray and I this note and present on our bed tonight.

026

We find little notes like this from time to time written by her.

We definitely love her for being the real Hannah!

Baby Tricks

Just incase you were wondering if letting a baby stare at the fire keeps them mesmerized for a good amount of time….013

It does!

015

p.s. I know this picture makes it look like I put the baby RIGHT IN FRONT of the fire, but it’s just the depth of field.

I am not the old lady from Hansel and Gretel……
