Happy Mismatch Day!

It was mismatch day at school on Friday or as Avril says, “my clothes can't rhyme”.

Family Home Evening

For FHE we picked apples at our Home Teacher’s Orchard

Vava insisted on wearing her candy cane scarf.

Ray was like a giraffe, picking apples from the top.

Hannah ate more apples than she picked!

Our plan is to make apple chips out of them……we will see if that ever happens!

Taco Dinner

Tonight at dinner Ray asked the kids, “Hey, do I have anything in my teeth?” 

Thanks Ray, now every time we have black beans I know what the kids will be trying to do!

That’s Avril For You

In church on Sunday, the speaker was talking about a set of scriptures he has that is very expensive.  It is a special addition normally given to general authorities.  These scriptures are so nice that he keeps them in a box on the shelf. 

He then made the point that sometimes we keep the gospel close to our hearts because it is so sacred, and don’t share it with others.

He then asked, “how many of you keep your scriptures on the shelf?” Avril then raised her hand high and proud for all to see!

At least she is listening….
